July 2021 – A large e-fashion retailer, About You, has decided to outsource their logistics operations for their new logistics site in Slovakia to Ingram Micro. Valor has been appointed as integrator and will arrange the intralogistics automation for the warehousing location. For the crossbelt sorter controls, Ingram Micro introduced EAE Solutions. This because of the positive experiences they had with EAE Flow in earlier projects regarding the stable and reliable control platform for sorters.

The Interroll crossbelt sorter at About You will have 62 destinations and 8 fully automatic inducts. With a capacity of about 20.000 items/hour.

 

During this project EAE Solutions will work closely with Valor and Interroll to deliver the required automation system to Ingram Micro/ About you. The partnership between Ingram Micro, Valor and EAE Solutions is not the first. This team of three also successfully completed the project in Tilburg, De Bijenkorf. Then it concerned the control of a pocket sorter of Vanderlande.
